Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (ﷺ) said: Near the Day of Judgment, there will be widespread tribulations, killing (harj) will become abundant, and knowledge will be taken away. When Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) heard Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) narrating this hadith, he said: Knowledge will not be snatched from the chests of the scholars, rather the scholars themselves will be taken away.
