حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ زِيَادٍ، عَنِ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ رَأَى الْحَسَنَ بْنَ عَلِيٍّ أَخَذَ تَمْرَةً مِنْ تَمْرِ الصَّدَقَةِ، فَلَاكَهَا فِي فِيهِ، فَقَالَ لَهُ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " كِخْ كِخْ؛ (٢) إِنَّا لَا تَحِلُّ لَنَا الصَّدَقَةُ " (٣)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (ﷺ) said: Once Imam Hasan (may Allah be pleased with him) took a date from charity and put it in his mouth. The Noble Prophet (ﷺ) said: Take it out! Do you not know that we, the family of Muhammad (ﷺ), do not eat charity?
