حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى، عَنْ مُحَمَّدٍ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنِي أَبُو سَلَمَةَ، عَنِ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " أَنَّهُ نَهَى عَنْ بَيْعَتَيْنِ فِي بَيْعَةٍ، وَعَنْ لِبْسَتَيْنِ: أَنْ يَشْتَمِلَ أَحَدُكُمُ الصَّمَّاءَ فِي ثَوْبٍ وَاحِدٍ، أَوْ يَحْتَبِيَ بِثَوْبٍ وَاحِدٍ لَيْسَ بَيْنَهُ وَبَيْنَ السَّمَاءِ شَيْءٌ " (٣)،

Translation

English translation

It is narrated from Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (ﷺ) forbade making a deal over another's deal and wearing two types of clothing, and that is when a person sits wrapped in a single garment with nothing covering his private parts, and that a person wraps himself in his lower garment while praying.
