Original Arabic
حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ زِيَادٍ قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ، يَقُولُ: سَمِعْتُ أَبَا الْقَاسِمِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ: " خَيْرُكُمْ إِسْلَامًا أَحَاسِنُكُمْ أَخْلَاقًا، إِذَا فَقِهُوا " (٢)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated with the previous chain that I heard Abul Qasim (peace be upon him) saying: The best among you are those who have good character and are jurists.
