حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادٌ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ زِيَادٍ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ، يَقُولُ: سَمِعْتُ أَبَا الْقَاسِمِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ: " مَا يَسُرُّنِي أَنَّ لِي أُحُدًا ذَهَبًا، يَأْتِي عَلَيَّ ثَلَاثٌ وَعِنْدِي مِنْهُ دِينَارٌ، لَيْسَ شَيْئًا أَرْصُدُهُ لِدَيْنٍ " (٢)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from the same chain that I heard Abu al-Qasim (peace be upon him) saying: If the mountain of Uhud were to turn into gold for me, I would not like to die leaving even a single dinar, except for that which I set aside to pay off a debt that is due upon me.
