حَدَّثَنَا أَسْوَدُ بْنُ عَامِرٍ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرٍ، عَنِ أَبِي حَصِينٍ، عَنِ أَبِي صَالِحٍ، عَنِ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، قَالَ: جَاءَ رَجُلٌ إِلَى رَسُولِ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، فَقَالَ: مُرْنِي بِأَمْرٍ، قَالَ: " لَا تَغْضَبْ "، قَالَ: فَمَرَّ أَوْ فَذَهَبَ، ثُمَّ رَجَعَ، قَالَ: مُرْنِي بِأَمْرٍ، قَالَ: " لَا تَغْضَبْ " قَالَ: فَرَدَّدَ (١) مِرَارًا كُلُّ ذَلِكَ يَرْجِعُ، فَيَقُولُ: " لَا تَغْضَبْ " (٢)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that a man came to the presence of the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) and said, "Command me to do one thing (not many things so that I may understand it well)." The Noble Prophet (ﷺ) said, "Do not get angry." He asked the same question several times, and the Noble Prophet (ﷺ) gave him the same answer every time: "Do not get angry."
