حَدَّثَنَا أَسْوَدُ بْنُ عَامِرٍ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرٍ، عَنِ أَبِي حَصِينٍ، عَنِ أَبِي صَالِحٍ، عَنِ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " سَدِّدُوا، وَقَارِبُوا، وَاعْلَمُوا أَنَّ أَحَدًا مِنْكُمْ لَيْسَ بِمُنْجِيهِ عَمَلُهُ "، قَالُوا: وَلَا أَنْتَ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ؟ قَالَ: " وَلَا أَنَا، إِلَّا أَنْ يَتَغَمَّدَنِي اللهُ بِرَحْمَتِهِ " (١)، ،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Holy Prophet (ﷺ) said: Remain steadfast on the right path and stay close to the straight path, and remember! None of you will be saved by his deeds. A man asked, "O Messenger of Allah (ﷺ), not even you?" He replied, "Not even me, unless my Lord covers me with His forgiveness and mercy."
