إِذَا زُلْزِلَتِ ٱلْأَرْضُ زِلْزَالَهَا 1

-en_sahih

When the earth is shaken with its [final] earthquake

-Translitration

idhā zul'zilati l-arḍu zil'zālahā

وَأَخْرَجَتِ ٱلْأَرْضُ أَثْقَالَهَا 2

-en_sahih

And the earth discharges its burdens

-Translitration

wa-akhrajati l-arḍu athqālahā

وَقَالَ ٱلْإِنسَٰنُ مَا لَهَا 3

-en_sahih

And man says, "What is [wrong] with it?" -

-Translitration

waqāla l-insānu mā lahā

يَوْمَئِذٍ تُحَدِّثُ أَخْبَارَهَا 4

-en_sahih

That Day, it will report its news

-Translitration

yawma-idhin tuḥaddithu akhbārahā

بِأَنَّ رَبَّكَ أَوْحَىٰ لَهَا 5

-en_sahih

Because your Lord has commanded it.

-Translitration

bi-anna rabbaka awḥā lahā

يَوْمَئِذٍ يَصْدُرُ ٱلنَّاسُ أَشْتَاتًا لِّيُرَوْا۟ أَعْمَٰلَهُمْ 6

-en_sahih

That Day, the people will depart separated [into categories] to be shown [the result of] their deeds.

-Translitration

yawma-idhin yaṣduru l-nāsu ashtātan liyuraw aʿmālahum

فَمَن يَعْمَلْ مِثْقَالَ ذَرَّةٍ خَيْرًا يَرَهُۥ 7

-en_sahih

So whoever does an atom's weight of good will see it,

-Translitration

faman yaʿmal mith'qāla dharratin khayran yarahu

وَمَن يَعْمَلْ مِثْقَالَ ذَرَّةٍ شَرًّا يَرَهُۥ 8

-en_sahih

And whoever does an atom's weight of evil will see it.

-Translitration

waman yaʿmal mith'qāla dharratin sharran yarahu
