إِنَّآ أَنزَلْنَٰهُ فِى لَيْلَةِ ٱلْقَدْرِ 1

-en_sahih

Indeed, We sent the Qur'an down during the Night of Decree.

-Translitration

innā anzalnāhu fī laylati l-qadri

وَمَآ أَدْرَىٰكَ مَا لَيْلَةُ ٱلْقَدْرِ 2

-en_sahih

And what can make you know what is the Night of Decree?

-Translitration

wamā adrāka mā laylatu l-qadri

لَيْلَةُ ٱلْقَدْرِ خَيْرٌ مِّنْ أَلْفِ شَهْرٍ 3

-en_sahih

The Night of Decree is better than a thousand months.

-Translitration

laylatu l-qadri khayrun min alfi shahrin

تَنَزَّلُ ٱلْمَلَٰٓئِكَةُ وَٱلرُّوحُ فِيهَا بِإِذْنِ رَبِّهِم مِّن كُلِّ أَمْرٍ 4

-en_sahih

The angels and the Spirit descend therein by permission of their Lord for every matter.

-Translitration

tanazzalu l-malāikatu wal-rūḥu fīhā bi-idh'ni rabbihim min kulli amrin

سَلَٰمٌ هِىَ حَتَّىٰ مَطْلَعِ ٱلْفَجْرِ 5

-en_sahih

Peace it is until the emergence of dawn.

-Translitration

salāmun hiya ḥattā maṭlaʿi l-fajri
