Original Arabic
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مُوسَى الْجُرَشِيُّ الْبَصْرِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو دَاوُدَ الطَّيَالِسِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا هَمَّامٌ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ، عَنْ خِلاَسِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو، عَنْ عَلِيٍّ، قَالَ نَهَى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم أَنْ تَحْلِقَ الْمَرْأَةُ رَأْسَهَا .
Translation
English translation
Ali narrated:
"The Messenger of Allah prohibited that a woman should shave her head."
