Original Arabic
حَدَّثَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ لَهِيعَةَ، عَنْ مِشْرَحِ بْنِ هَاعَانَ، عَنْ عُقْبَةَ بْنِ عَامِرٍ، قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم
أَسْلَمَ النَّاسُ وَآمَنَ عَمْرُو بْنُ الْعَاصِي
. هَذَا حَدِيثٌ غَرِيبٌ لاَ نَعْرِفُهُ إِلاَّ مِنْ حَدِيثِ ابْنِ لَهِيعَةَ عَنْ مِشْرَحِ بْنِ هَاعَانَ وَلَيْسَ إِسْنَادُهُ بِالْقَوِيِّ .
Translation
English translation
Narrated 'Uqbah bin 'Amir:
that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: "The people submitted while 'Amr bin Al-'As believed."
