حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ مُوسَى، أَخْبَرَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ عَوْنٍ، أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَوَانَةَ، عَنْ عُمَرَ بْنِ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم
لِيَنْظُرَنَّ أَحَدُكُمْ مَا الَّذِي يَتَمَنَّى فَإِنَّهُ لاَ يَدْرِي مَا يُكْتَبُ لَهُ مِنْ أُمْنِيَّتِهِ
. هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ .
Translation
English translation
Umar bin Abi Salamah narrated from his father, who said:
“The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: ‘Let one of you look at what it is that he wishes for. For verily, he does not know what of his wish shall be recorded.’”
