Original Arabic

عن أنس، رضي الله عنه، قال‏:‏ قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم ‏:‏ ‏

‏عليكم بالدلجة، فإن الأرض تطوي بالليل‏

‏ ‏(‏‏(‏رواه أبو داود بإسناد حسن‏)‏‏)‏‏ الدلجة‏ ‏ ‏:‏ السير في الليل‏

Translation

English translation

Anas (May Allah be pleased with him) reported:

The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said, "Keep to travelling by night because the earth is folded (traversed more easily) during the night." [Abu Dawud].
