Original Arabic
عن أبي كريمة المقداد بن معد يكرب رضي الله عنه عن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم قال:
إذا أحب الرجل أخاه، فليخبره أنه يحبه
((رواه أبو داود، والترمذي وقال : حديث حسن)).
Translation
English translation
Abu Karimah Al-Miqdam bin Ma'dikarib (May Allah be pleased with him) reported:
The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "When a man loves his brother (for Allah's sake) let him tell him that he loves him". [Abu Dawud and At- Tirmidhi, who classified it as Hadith Sahih].
