Original Arabic

وعن ابن مسعود رضي الله عنه قال‏:‏ سمعت رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم يقول‏:‏ ‏

‏إن أشد الناس عذابًا يوم القيامة المصورون‏

‏ ‏(‏‏(‏متفق عليه‏)‏‏)‏‏.‏

Translation

English translation

Ibn Mas'ud (May Allah be pleased with him) said:

I heard the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) saying, "Those who will receive the most severe punishment from Allah on the Day of Resurrection will be painters (of living objects)." [Al-Bukhari and Muslim].
