Original Arabic

وعن أبي مسعود البدري رضي الله عنه قال‏:‏ إن رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم ‏

‏نهى عن ثمن الكلب، ومهر البغي وحُلوان الكاهن‏

‏ ‏(‏‏(‏متفق عليه‏)‏‏)‏‏.‏

Translation

English translation

Abu Mas'ud Al-Badri (May Allah be pleased with him) said:

The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) prohibited the price of a dog, the earning of an prostitute, and the money given to a soothsayer. [Al- Bukhari and Muslim].
