Original Arabic
عن جابر رضي الله عنه قال: قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم :
لا تأكلوا بالشمال، فإن الشيطان يأكل ويشرب بشماله
((رواه مسلم)).
Translation
English translation
Jabir (May Allah be pleased with him) said:
I heard the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) as saying: "Do not eat with your left hand, because Satan eats and drinks with his left hand." [Muslim].
