Original Arabic
وعن ابن مسعود، رضي الله عنه، أن النبي، صلى الله عليه وسلم، كان يقول:
اللهم إني أسألك الهدى، والتقى، والعفاف، والغنى
((رواه مسلم)).
Translation
English translation
'Abdullah bin Mas'ud (May Allah be pleased with him) reported:
The Prophet (ﷺ) used to supplicate: "Allahumma inni as'alukal-huda, wat-tuqa, wal-'afafa, wal-ghina (O Allah! I beseech You for guidance, piety, chastity and contentment)." [Muslim].
