وعن عائشة رضي الله عنها قالت كان رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم إذا قام من الليل افتتح صلاته بركعتين خفيفتين ((رواه مسلم)).
Translation
English translation
'Aishah (May Allah be pleased with her) reported:
Whenever the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) stood for Salat at night, he would start his prayer with two brief Rak'ah. [Muslim].
