Original Arabic
حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ عُمَرَ، وَمُعَاوِيَةُ بْنُ هِشَامٍ، قَالَا: حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ، عَنِ أَبِي الزِّنَادِ، عَنِ الْأَعْرَجِ، عَنِ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: " قِيلَ لَهُ: أَنْفِقْ أُنْفِقْ عَلَيْكَ "، قَالَ مُعَاوِيَةُ فِي حَدِيثِهِ: قَالَ: " يَقُولُ رَبُّنَا عَزَّ وَجَلَّ: أَنْفِقْ أُنْفِقْ عَلَيْكَ " (١)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) in a marfu' form that Allah Almighty says: O son of Adam, spend (in My way), I will spend on you.
