حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا دَاوُدُ بْنُ قَيْسٍ، عَنْ مُوسَى بْنِ يَسَارٍ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: " مَنْ اشْتَرَى شَاةً مُصَرَّاةً فَلْيَحْلِبْهَا، فَإِنْ لَمْ يَرْضَهَا، فَلْيَرُدَّهَا، وَلْيَرُدَّ مَعَهَا صَاعًا مِنْ تَمْرٍ "،

Translation

English translation

It is narrated from Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (ﷺ) said: Whoever (being deceived) buys a goat whose udders have been tied, then either he should keep the animal with himself (and resolve the matter), or he should return the animal to its owner and also give one sa’ of dates along with it.
