قَرَأْتُ عَلَى عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ: مَالِكٌ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ يَزِيدَ، مَوْلَى، ، الْأَسْوَدِ بْنِ سُفْيَانَ، عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ، وَمُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ ثَوْبَانَ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " إِذَا كَانَ الْحَرُّ فَأَبْرِدُوا بِالصَّلَاةِ، فَإِنَّ شِدَّةَ الْحَرِّ مِنْ فَيْحِ جَهَنَّمَ "، وَذَكَرَ: " أَنَّ النَّارَ اشْتَكَتْ إِلَى رَبِّهَا، فَأَذِنَ لَهَا فِي كُلِّ عَامٍ بِنَفَسَيْنِ، نَفَسٍ فِي الشِّتَاءِ، وَنَفَسٍ فِي الصَّيْفِ " (١)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Holy Prophet (ﷺ) said: When the heat is intense, perform the prayer after it has cooled down, because the severity of the heat is due to the effect of the heat of Hell. And he said: Once the fire of Hell complained to its Lord, so Allah allowed it to breathe twice—once in the winter and once in the summer.
