حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا سَلِيمٌ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدٌ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ، يَقُولُ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " الصَّوْمُ جُنَّةٌ " (٢)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (ﷺ) said: Fasting is a shield.
