حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، قَالَ: كَتَبَ إِلَيَّ مَنْصُورٌ، أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ أَبَا عُثْمَانَ، يُحَدِّثُ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ الصَّادِقَ الْمَصْدُوقَ صَاحِبَ هَذِهِ الْحُجْرَةِ يَقُولُ: " لَا تُنْزَعُ الرَّحْمَةُ إِلَّا مِنْ شَقِيٍّ " (٣)، ،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that I heard the truthful and trusted, the owner of the chamber, the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) saying: "Mercy is drawn only towards the one who is himself wretched."
