حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ زِيَادٍ قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ يُحَدِّثُ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، أَنَّهُ قَالَ: " مَا أُحِبُّ أَنَّ لِي مِثْلَ أُحُدٍ ذَهَبًا - قَالَ شُعْبَةُ: أَوْ قَالَ: مَا أُحِبُّ أَنَّ لِي أُحُدًا ذَهَبًا - أَدَعُ يَوْمَ أَمُوتُ دِينَارًا، إِلَّا أَنْ أُرْصِدَهُ لِدَيْنٍ " (١)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated with the same chain that the Noble Prophet (ﷺ) said: If the mountain of Uhud were to turn into gold for me, I would not like to die leaving even a single dinar, except for that which I keep aside to pay off a debt that is due upon me.
