Original Arabic
حَدَّثَنَا حَجَّاجٌ، وَحَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ، قَالَا: أَخْبَرَنَا ابْنُ أَبِي ذِئْبٍ، عَنْ صَالِحٍ، مَوْلَى التَّوْأَمَةِ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: " مَا جَلَسَ قَوْمٌ مَجْلِسًا لَمْ يَذْكُرُوا اللهَ فِيهِ، وَلَمْ يُصَلُّوا عَلَى نَبِيِّهِمْ، إِلَّا كَانَ عَلَيْهِمْ تِرَةً " (٢)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Holy Prophet (ﷺ) said: Those people who gather in a place for a meeting but do not remember Allah in it nor send blessings upon the Holy Prophet (ﷺ), and then disperse, it will be a cause of regret for them on the Day of Resurrection.
