Original Arabic
حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ، أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَمْرٍو، عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " مَنْ تَرَكَ مَالًا، ، فَلِأَهْلِهِ، وَمَنْ تَرَكَ ضِيَاعًا فَإِلَيَّ " (١)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated with the previous chain that the Noble Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: Whoever leaves behind wealth, it is for his heirs, and whoever leaves behind children, their upbringing is my responsibility.
