حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ، عَنْ سُفْيَانَ، عَنْ أَبِي الزِّنَادِ، عَنِ الْأَعْرَجِ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، قَالَ: لَمَّا قَدِمَ الطُّفَيْلُ وَأَصْحَابُهُ عَلَى النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: إِنَّ دَوْسًا قَدِ اسْتَعْصَتْ، قَالَ: " اللهُمَّ اهْدِ دَوْسًا وَائْتِ بِهِمْ " (٤)، ،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that once Tufail bin Amr Dosi (may Allah be pleased with him) came to the service of the Holy Prophet (ﷺ) along with his companions and said that the people of the tribe of Daws are persistent in disobedience and denial. The Holy Prophet (ﷺ) prayed: O Allah! Grant guidance to the tribe of Daws and bring them here.
