حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ، عَنْ سُفْيَانَ، عَنْ عُمَارَةَ بْنِ الْقَعْقَاعِ، عَنْ أَبِي زُرْعَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، " أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، كَانَ لَهُ سَكْتَةٌ فِي الصَّلَاةِ " (٣)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (ﷺ) used to remain silent for a short while between saying the opening Takbeer and the recitation after the Takbeer.
