حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ، عَنْ سُفْيَانَ، عَنْ صَالِحٍ، يَعْنِي مَوْلَى التَّوْأَمَةِ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " مَا اجْتَمَعَ قَوْمٌ فِي مَجْلِسٍ فَتَفَرَّقُوا، وَلَمْ يَذْكُرُوا اللهَ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ، وَيُصَلُّوا عَلَى النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، إِلَّا كَانَ مَجْلِسُهُمْ تِرَةً عَلَيْهِمْ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ " (٢)، ،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Holy Prophet (ﷺ) said: Those people who gather in a place for a meeting but do not remember Allah in it nor send blessings upon the Holy Prophet (ﷺ), and then disperse, it will be a cause of regret for them on the Day of Resurrection.
