حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا فُضَيْلُ بْنُ غَزْوَانَ الضَّبِّيُّ، عَنْ أَبِي حَازِمٍ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " ثَلَاثٌ إِذَا خَرَجْنَ لَمْ يَنْفَعْ نَفْسًا إِيمَانُهَا لَمْ تَكُنْ آمَنَتْ مِنْ قَبْلُ، أَوْ كَسَبَتْ فِي إِيمَانِهَا خَيْرًا: طُلُوعُ الشَّمْسِ مِنْ مَغْرِبِهَا، وَالدُّخَانُ، وَدَابَّةُ الْأَرْضِ " (١)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Holy Prophet (ﷺ) said: There are three things, when they appear, the faith of a soul will not benefit it if it did not believe before, or did not earn goodness in its faith. (1) The rising of the sun from the west (2) The smoke (3) The beast of the earth.
