Original Arabic
حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا عِيسَى بْنُ الْمُسَيِّبِ، عَنْ أَبِي زُرْعَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " الْهِرُّ سَبُعٌ " (١)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (ﷺ) said: The cat is (such) a predator (that does not prevent the angels of mercy from coming).
