حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ، عَنْ حَبِيبٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ الْمُطَوِّسِ، عَنِ الْمُطَوِّسِ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " مَنْ أَفْطَرَ يَوْمًا مِنْ رَمَضَانَ، مِنْ غَيْرِ رُخْصَةٍ، لَمْ يَجْزِهِ صِيَامُ الدَّهْرِ " (٢)، ،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: Whoever leaves or breaks one fast of Ramadan without a valid excuse, then even if he fasts for his entire life, it will not suffice to make up for that one fast.
