حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ نُمَيْرٍ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا ثَوْرٌ يَعْنِي ابْنَ يَزِيدَ، عَنْ مَكْحُولٍ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " الْعَيْنُ حَقٌّ، وَيَحْضُرُ (٣) بِهَا الشَّيْطَانُ وَحَسَدُ ابْنِ آدَمَ " (٤)، ،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (ﷺ) said: The effect of the evil eye is true, and Satan is present at that time, and a person feels envy.
