حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى، حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ، حَدَّثَنَي أَبُو سَلَمَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قال: " مَثَلُ الْمُجَاهِدِ فِي سَبِيلِ اللهِ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ، مَثَلُ الْقَانِتِ الصَّائِمِ فِي بَيْتِهِ الَّذِي لَا يَفْتُرُ، حَتَّى، ، يَرْجِعَ بِمَا رَجَعَ مِنْ غَنِيمَةٍ، أَوْ يَتَوَفَّاهُ اللهُ فَيُدْخِلَهُ الْجَنَّةَ " (١)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated with the previous chain that the example of a Mujahid striving in the way of Allah is like that of a person who spends the night in worship and fasts during the day in his home. He continues to receive the reward of fasting and standing in prayer as long as he does not return home with war booty or Allah causes him to die and enter Paradise.
