حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى، عَنِ ابْنِ عَجْلَانَ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ أَبِي، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: " مَا سَالَمْنَاهُنَّ مُنْذُ حَارَبْنَاهُنَّ، مَنْ تَرَكَ شَيْئًا خِيفَةً (٤) ، فَلَيْسَ مِنَّا " يَعْنِي الْحَيَّاتِ (٥)، ،

Translation

English translation

It is narrated from Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (ﷺ) said regarding snakes: Since we started fighting them, we have never made peace with them. Whoever leaves them out of fear is not from us.
