حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى، عَنْ عَوْفٍ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا خِلَاسٌ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: " مَثَلُ الَّذِي يَعُودُ فِي، ، هِبَتِهِ، مَثَلُ الْكَلْبِ، إِذَا شَبِعَ قَاءَ ثُمَّ عَادَ فِي قَيْئِهِ " (١)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (ﷺ) said: The example of a person who gives a gift to someone and then takes it back is like that of a dog who eats until it is full, then vomits, and then starts eating its vomit again.
