حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ سَعِيدٍ، عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللهِ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنِي سَعِيدٌ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " تُنْكَحُ النِّسَاءُ لِأَرْبَعٍ: لِمَالِهَا، وَجَمَالِهَا، وَحَسَبِهَا، وَدِينِهَا، فَاظْفَرْ بِذَاتِ الدِّينِ تَرِبَتْ يَدَاكَ " (٢)، ،

Translation

English translation

It is narrated from Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (ﷺ) said: A woman is married for four reasons: for her wealth, for her beauty, for her lineage, and for her religion. So select the religious one, may your hands be dusted.
