حَدَّثَنَا هَارُونُ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ وَهْبٍ، قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنِي يُونُسُ، عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ هُرْمُزَ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: " إِنَّ أَحَدَكُمْ مَا قَعَدَ يَنْتَظِرُ الصَّلَاةَ، فِي صَلَاةٍ، مَا لَمْ يُحْدِثْ، تَدْعُو لَهُ الْمَلَائِكَةُ: اللهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لَهُ، اللهُمَّ ارْحَمْهُ " (١)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Holy Prophet (ﷺ) said: Whoever among you waits for the prayer, he is counted as being in prayer, and the angels continue to pray for his forgiveness as long as he does not lose his ablution, and they keep saying: O Allah! Forgive him, O Allah! Have mercy on him.
