حَدَّثَنَا هَارُونُ بْنُ مَعْرُوفٍ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ وَهْبٍ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنِي مَعْرُوفُ بْنُ سُوَيْدٍ الْجُذَامِيُّ، أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ عَلِيَّ بْنَ رَبَاحٍ، يَقُولُ: سَمِعْتُ أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ، يَقُولُ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " لَا عَدْوَى، وَلَا طِيَرَةَ (٢) ، وَالْعَيْنُ حَقٌّ " (٣)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (ﷺ) said: No disease is contagious, and there is no reality in (believing in the influence of) birds, and the evil eye is true.
