حَدَّثَنَا غَسَّانُ بْنُ الرَّبِيعِ المُوصِلِيٌّ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ، عَنْ عَاصِمِ ابْنِ بَهْدَلَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي صَالِحٍ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: " يُؤْتَى بِالْمَوْتِ كَبْشًا أَغْثَرَ، فَيُوقَفُ بَيْنَ الْجَنَّةِ وَالنَّارِ، فَيُقَالُ: يَا أَهْلَ الْجَنَّةِ، فَيَشْرَئِبُّونَ وَيَنْظُرُونَ، وَيُقَالُ لِأَهْلِ النَّارِ، فَيَشْرَئِبُّونَ وَيَنْظُرُونَ، وَيَرَوْنَ أَنْ قَدْ جَاءَ الْفَرَجُ، فَيُذْبَحُ، فَيُقَالُ: خُلُودٌ لَا مَوْتَ "، (٢)، ،
Translation
English translation
Narrated to us Ghassan ibn al-Rabi' al-Mawsili, he said: Narrated to us Hammad ibn Salamah, from 'Asim ibn Bahdalah, from Abu Salih, from Abu Hurairah, that the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Death will be brought as a scrawny ram, and it will be placed between Paradise and the Fire. It will be said: O people of Paradise, and they will crane their necks and look. Then it will be slaughtered, and it will be said: Eternity, no death."
