وَكَانَ إِذَا رَفَعَ رَأْسَهُ مِنَ الرَّكْعَةِ الْآخِرَةِ، يَقُولُ: " اللهُمَّ أَنْجِ عَيَّاشَ بْنَ أَبِي رَبِيعَةَ، اللهُمَّ أَنْجِ سَلَمَةَ بْنَ هِشَامٍ، اللهُمَّ أَنْجِ الْوَلِيدَ بْنَ الْوَلِيدِ، اللهُمَّ أَنْجِ الْمُسْتَضْعَفِينَ مِنَ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ، اللهُمَّ اشْدُدْ وَطْأَتَكَ عَلَى مُضَرَ، اللهُمَّ اجْعَلْهَا سِنِينَ كَسِنِي يُوسُفَ " (٣)، ،
Translation
English translation
And when the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) would raise his head from the bowing (ruku) of the second rak'ah of the Fajr prayer, he would supplicate: O Allah! Grant deliverance to Walid bin Walid, Salamah bin Hisham, Ayyash bin Abi Rabi'ah, and the other weak ones in Makkah from the oppression and tyranny of the Quraysh. O Allah! Inflict a severe punishment upon the tribe of Mudar and impose upon them a famine like that which occurred in the time of Yusuf (peace be upon him).
