حَدَّثَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا يَعْقُوبُ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَجْلَانَ، عَنْ سُمَيٍّ، عَنْ أَبِي صَالِحٍ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، أَنَّهُ قَالَ: " شَكَا النَّاسُ إِلَى رَسُولِ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَتْحَ مَا بَيْنَ الْمِرْفَقَيْنِ، فَأَمَرَهُمْ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنْ يَسْتَعِينُوا بِالرُّكَبِ " (١)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that some of the noble companions (may Allah be pleased with them) complained to the Holy Prophet (ﷺ) that when they are corpulent, they find it difficult to perform prostration. The Holy Prophet (ﷺ) said: Take help from your knees.
