حَدَّثَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ، حَدَّثَنَا يَعْقُوبُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ أَبِي عَمْرٍو، عَنْ سَعِيدٍ الْمَقْبُرِيِّ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: " يَقُولُ اللهُ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ: مَا لِعَبْدِي الْمُؤْمِنِ عِنْدِي جَزَاءٌ، إِذَا قَبَضْتُ صَفِيَّهُ مِنْ أَهْلِ الدُّنْيَا، ثُمَّ احْتَسَبَهُ، إِلَّا الْجَنَّةُ " (١)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) in a marfu' form that Allah Almighty says: If I take away the light of both beloved eyes of a person and he remains patient and hopes for reward, then I am not pleased with any reward for him except Paradise.
