Suhail bin Abi Salih says that once I was walking with my father when my father looked into a house and his gaze fell upon a woman. He said, "If these people had gouged out my eye, it would have been wasted." Then he said, "Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated this hadith to me, that he heard the Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ) say: If a person looks into someone’s house without permission and he is struck with a pebble and his eye is gouged out, there is no sin upon the one who struck him."
