حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا أَبَانُ بْنُ يَزِيدَ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا قَتَادَةُ، عَنِ النَّضْرِ بْنِ أَنَسٍ، عَنْ بَشِيرِ بْنِ نَهِيكٍ،، ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: " إِذَا أَفْلَسَ الرَّجُلُ فَالْغَرِيمُ أَحَقُّ بِمَالِهِ (١) إِذَا وَجَدَهُ بِعَيْنِهِ " (٢)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: If a man has been declared bankrupt and someone finds his own property with him in its original form, then he has a greater right to that property than others.
