Original Arabic
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامٌ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدٍ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: " يُوشِكُ مَنْ عَاشَ مِنْكُمْ أَنْ يَلْقَى عِيسَى ابْنَ مَرْيَمَ إِمَامًا مَهْدِيًّا وَحَكَمًا عَدْلًا، فَيَكْسِرُ، ، الصَّلِيبَ، وَيَقْتُلُ الْخِنْزِيرَ، وَتُوضَعُ (١) الْجِزْيَةَ، وَتَضَعُ الْحَرْبُ أَوْزَارَهَا " (٢)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Holy Prophet (ﷺ) said: Soon, Isa (peace be upon him) will descend among you as a just ruler. Whoever remains alive will meet him. He will break the cross, kill the swine, abolish the jizya, and during his time, war will cease.
