حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، عَنْ مَعْمَرٍ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ الْمُسَيِّبِ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ " أَنَّهُ نَهَى عَنِ الْفَرَعِ وَالْعَتِيرَةِ " (١) ، قَالَ مُحَمَّدٌ: " وَقَدْ سَمِعْتُهُ أَنَا مِنْ مَعْمَرٍ "،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (ﷺ) forbade offering sacrifice in the month of Rajab and sacrificing the first offspring of an animal in the name of idols.
