حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَوَانَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا سُلَيْمَانُ الْأَعْمَشُ، عَنْ أَبِي صَالِحٍ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: " مَا مِنْ قَوْمٍ يَجْتَمِعُونَ فِي بَيْتٍ مِنْ بُيُوتِ اللهِ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ، يَقْرَءُونَ وَيَتَعَلَّمُونَ كِتَابَ اللهِ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ يَتَدَارَسُونَهُ بَيْنَهُمْ، إِلَّا حَفَّتْ بِهِمُ الْمَلَائِكَةُ، وَغَشِيَتْهُمُ الرَّحْمَةُ، وَذَكَرَهُمُ اللهُ فِيمَنْ عِنْدَهُ، وَمَا مِنْ رَجُلٍ يَسْلُكُ طَرِيقًا يَلْتَمِسُ بِهِ الْعِلْمَ، إِلَّا سَهَّلَ لَهُ بِهِ _ أَوْ سُهِّلَ بِهِ _ طَرِيقًا الْجَنَّةِ (٣) ، وَمَنْ يُبْطِئُ، ، بِهِ عَمَلُهُ، لَا يُسْرِعُ بِهِ نَسَبُهُ " (١)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (ﷺ) said: Whenever a group of people gathers in one of the houses of Allah, reciting the Holy Qur'an and remembering it among themselves, tranquility descends upon them, the mercy of Allah envelops them, the angels cover them, and Allah mentions them to those angels who are with Him. And whoever sets out on a path seeking knowledge, Allah, due to its blessing, makes the path to Paradise easy for him. And whoever is held back by his deeds, his lineage will not take him forward.
