حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ، حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادٌ يَعْنِي ابْنَ سَلَمَةَ، عَنْ عَطَاءِ بْنِ السَّائِبِ، عَنِ الْأَغَرِّ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِيمَا يَحْكِي عَنْ رَبِّهِ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ، قَالَ: " مَنْ ذَكَرَنِي فِي نَفْسِهِ ذَكَرْتُهُ فِي نَفْسِي، وَمَنْ ذَكَرَنِي فِي مَلَإٍ مِنَ النَّاسِ، ذَكَرْتُهُ فِي مَلَإٍ أَكْثَرَ مِنْهُمْ وَأَطْيَبَ " (١)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (ﷺ) said: Allah Almighty says, "If a servant remembers Me in his heart, I also remember him in My heart. If he remembers Me in a gathering, I remember him in a gathering better than that."
